Gas pedal vibration on 1.8 HSD @ 1000-2000 rpm

    Hallo from France,


    I own (purchased new) a 1.8 TS Corolla (2020) and have always felt some light (but very noticable) vibrations in the "gas" pedal between 1000 and 2000 rpm (mostly).

    Any similar feelings on 1.8 engine ? Any solution ? Could be the exhaust pipe vibration on chassis as discussed on some posts ?

    Toyota always told me it was a normal behaviour on this engine...

    thank you for your participation in the forum!

    I can only talk for der 2023 FL 1,8 (140 hp). After 5.000 km there is no vibration recognized.

    Some users have the same problem. Vibrations at appx. 1200-1400rpm, mee too. Sounds like coming from the brake pedal. But nobody found the reason yet. See here:

    Hallo,

    es kommt mir so vor, als wenn das Bremspedal ganz leicht vibriert, wenn ich mit dem Fuß drauf stehe und beispielsweise an einer roten Ampel stehe. Meist direkt nach dem losfahren, wenn das Auto kalt ist. Ich meine auch, dass ich es beim Drücken des Gaspedals merke. Ich bilde mir ein, dass die Vibrationen verstärkt oder sogar ausschließlich auftreten, wenn der Verbrennungsmotor läuft. Ist das "normal" und kann jemand ähnliches bestätigen?
